Why not use a word-processor?

The main benefit of CatView over a word processor is that CatView specialises in line-delimited files and therefore knows that each line represents a "record" of some sort.
This means that CatView can show a list of matching lines rather than just take you to the first instance of the match as most word-processors do.
In addition, using 3 keywords with boolean search facilities and wildcards (* and ?) means that searching with CatView is far more powerful than any word processor for this type of file.
